According to Hindu and Buddhist tradition, people are burnt after their death. People in Chhermading were facing the problem of rain while burning the dead body. To solve this problem we took an initiative to build a ghat (burning place) with a roof so that the people do not face the problem of rain.
In the near future, we are planning to build small shelter homes for people to pray and carry out the sacred rituals for the peace of the dead. This shelter will protect the people from the rain and storms. Ghat project is completed with the help of dots&loops.
